When I wanted to do a photo shoot for our twin clothing line I knew it was going to be intense. I had to gather each design in the girl/girl, boy/boy and girl/boy categories per age, per twin models. At times I think I’m organized and then at times I’m not so sure. On this day I did feel organized although I arrived 2 minutes late and I wanted to arrive 20 minutes early. Thank God for my four girls for helping out.
I had NO IDEA what it would be like to photograph 5 sets of infants nor how long it would take. This is exhausting and I don’t know how the photographer did it but she handled it like it was nothing at all and she did such a great job. (jodi chandler photography in case you are wondering www.jodichandlerphotography.com) we went almost an hour over with the infants. The toddlers were next and they all did such a great job this went quick and very smoothly, thank God again for patient parents because that is exactly what they were.
Throw in the moms who modeled shirts unexpectedly, and a dad for that matter, along with youth twins that had to model shirts that weren’t their gender because a couple twin sets didn’t show up and 5 hours later walla the shoot is complete and hopefully I didn’t miss any pictures of any products. For the most part everyone walked away happy (I hope). At one point there were so many sets of twins that I felt like we were having our own little version of Twins Days : )
Just for the record the photos of the twins who are crying will be my favorite because after all this is life with twins...one is fine the other is crying, one is sitting the other standing, one is walking one is crawling.....
I loved every part of this photo shoot and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with everyone that came out for the photo shoot, every adorable twin and their parents, grandparents and siblings including the wonderful photographer and my family.
