This Is Us

I had the pleasure of actually sitting down to fold laundry one night and it happened to be the night of the first episode of This is us. I don’t typically watch TV especially 1 hour shows I just can’t commit to that much time. Occasionally I do enjoy a 1/2 hour comedy here and there but I was immediately drawn to this show. I think it’s because they flip back and forth between the past and the present and when I caught on I though that was brilliant. When I realized there were twins in the show I was hooked but I have to admit I did miss a couple of episodes.

I love how different the twins are and how close they are. Sometimes It’s hard for me to watch because Kate (the girl twin) is so heavy but that’s not because I’m judging. I have been battling my weight for most of my life, there are years where I have won, but on the average I have not and I am not obese but obesity is one of my biggest fears. Honestly this is one of the reasons I LOVE this show the fact that Chrissy Metz has an opportunity to do something great like this is sooo awesome.

I love that I can relate to this show in my own little way because I have twins (plus 2) and I love how real it makes you feel.
