The Best Compliment EVER!

On weekdays I wake up, get the girls up, take a shower, get ready for work and with my extra 20-25 minutes I make the girls breakfast and get their lunch together before I drive them to school. Keep in mind there were 4 of them but now only 3 because one is in college. One of my twins, Sophia, on our way out the door, said “Mom, how do you make being a mom look so easy?” I stopped in my tracks (we are typically rushing a bit) and turned around and looked at her and said “What makes you say that?” and she said “When we were watching Ava the other week it was so much work.” And it was at that point that I revealed my secret.....I said “Oh honey, that’s because she’s so young, it’s easier for me because you are older.” I also told her that I have really good kids and that helps too : ). Sophia made my whole day with that one question. That has to be the best compliment that I have ever received and it was pure and genuine. I love it!
