We dropped our oldest off at college this weekend. I decided to make it a family event because I wanted the younger girls to see what this whole college thing was all about and see what they will be working toward for the next several years. I don’t know that I made the right decision. Although we were all very sad that Angela was staying at college and not coming home with us they still argued periodically throughout the trip. Angela would have preferred it just be Rob and I taking her to college. She has not been shy about stating, over the past 6 years or so, that she wanted to be an only child. When you have a house full of 6 people and it’s never calm or quiet the lack of chaos will take some getting used to I’m sure even though it’s what you’ve been asking for for so many years : ). I’m not only looking forward to a great college education but also a new found appreciation for her sisters.
The girls took turns sleeping in Angela’s room they miss her so much. It’s a little hard to get used to not seeing her beautiful smile everyday but this is the next step and I know she will do great things. Great things with soccer and great things with her education.
By the way if anyone has any questions regarding NCAA rules and requirements just let me know I’m sure I can answer any question you have. I could probably work their customer service center without even being trained.
Love them lots it all just goes by so quickly.
